Year End Retreat, Part II
Registration opens on Saturday, November 24th at 9:00 a.m. You must have completed one eight-day or longer retreat at Bhavana to register for this retreat. To ensure the undisturbed quality of the retreat, participation is limited to experienced Bhavana meditators only. Please note on your registration in “Experience” the title, date and year of this completed Bhavana retreat (eight days or longer). To avoid any disappointments, please provide this information to prevent possibly delaying completion of your registration.
Open for dedicated retreatants to observe the year’s end. In order for the retreat to run smoothly, retreatants will be expected to bring their mindfulness practice into daily life by doing daily jobs, as is done on regular meditation retreats at Bhavana. This will be a completely silent retreat. There will be no Dhamma talks or question and answer periods and no interviews during these intensive silent year-end retreats. Participants may attend Part I, II, or both. Please note, though there is a two day period when Part I of the Year End Retreat ends and Part II begins, we request that no visitors come to our center since many will stay for both Part I and Part II and will continue to be in silence during their retreat.
Please note, if a Retreat Registration becomes active during holidays or weekends, we may not be able to ‘get back to you’ about your retreat registration request until the next business day. Thank you for your understanding.
Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on the day one month prior to the date of the retreat/event. It will remain open until the retreat is full (for both men and women). Registration ends at 4:00 p.m. the day before the retreat/event begins if not closed earlier due to full enrollment.
On-site registration/check-in opens at 3:00 p.m. in the Dining Hall. Please arrive to allow enough time to complete registration here and settle in before the retreat begins. All retreats end after lunch on the last day.
Although every retreat is slightly different here is a typical retreat daily schedule.
